Heres my Favorites from the month of June.
Everyone seems to be raving about this right now and I am no different (The lemming that I am). I love the formula, I love the finish and I love the price.
This is a medium to sheer coverage foundation that gives a beautiful glowy finish to the skin. The only downside of this foundation is that I dont think it will last as long as most of my normal foundations and the little sponge applicator that comes with it is a bit meh, and now lives in my bin.
NYX Vivid Brights Eye Liner
My Boots FINALLY (Fingers pointing at you Kingston) has a NYX stand!!! I hadn’t heard much about these vivid brights eyeliners when I purchased mine but now I’m seeing them pop up everywhere. The colours are so pigmented and they last all day. Usually I hate drugstore liquid liners applicators but the ones that are in the Vivid Brights are pretty decent. I shall definitely be stocking up on more colours!
Clarins Blue Orchid Face Treatment Oil – Dehydrated Skin 30ml
As a dry skin girl, I love a oil. They seem to be so soothing and hydrating, and nothing works better at plumping my skin up then a decent oil. Clarins Blue Orchid is devine and smells like relaxation in a bottle. This one is specifically for dehydrated skins and I must say that I think this has played a massive part in how my skin has been looking recently. Never have I gotten so many compliments about how glowy my skin looks. Thumbs up for Clarins, who are slowly becoming my favorite skincare brand.
RITUALS Woody Vanilla Luxurious Scented Candle 360 g
The smell of this takes me to my happy place. I love woody, sweet scents so this was always going to be a winner for me. If you have ever had the pleasure of smelling L’occitane vanilla hand cream this smells exactly like it. The scent is enough to fill a room, and even when it’s not lit I still get a whiff of it every now and then (it’s on my bedside table). I cannot wait to try more from their range!
The Five People You Meet In Heaven
How I adored this book. You follow 83 year old Eddie though the first stages of the afterlife where he meets the five people you meet on the way to heaven. Each person has been in Eddie’s life at some point, be it big or small, and each have a story for him.
This is such a short but beautiful read that had me in tears by the end of the book.
I recommend it to everyone, no matter what your prefered genre is.
