The newest trend this season. Draping.
And no, it has nothing to do with curtains! Basically, instead of using your normal contour shade you contour with a blush.
Obviously this is only meant for the cheekbones, blush contouring your nose could look a bit Rudolf The Red-Nosed Reindeer but each to there own dear.

How to –

You start with the darkest blush of your choice in the hollow of your cheekbone, then fade up the cheekbone into a lighter blush. Finish off with popping a bit of highlight on your cheekbone and Bob’s your Uncle.

Face –
Foundation – Dior skin in Nude
Concealer – MAC Studio Finish
Blush – Illamasqua Seduce and Ravish
Highlight – MAC’s Soft and Gentle

Makeup Draping
Eyes –
Eyeshadow – MAC’s Mystery smudged along waterline
Mascara – Clinique Long Lash
Eyebrows – MAC Copperplate eyeshadow
Lips – Illamasqua Ravish Blusher

Draping! I haven't heard of this but I like the idea and the outcome on you is lovely, the pop of colour on your cheeks suits you so nicely.

When it comes to blush I tend to use more than one, often hard to get the perfect colour so like to mix up blush with a deeper and a lighter colour.

    You look beautiful πŸ™‚

I've never been able to contour because I was never able to get a shade light enough to not look awful on my skintone so this is definitely something I need to try!
