With the weather being slightly more milder Spring is starting to feel like it’s coming, and the dark cosiness of my house is starting to make me crave airy and bright rooms.
I’ve been on the hunt to find some affordable accessories for the home, and even though I still have a long way to go, I thought I would share with you my finds so far.
F**king Fabulous Candle – The House Outfit £15
I f**cking love this candle.
Please excuse my French but I am not PG person and this candle does make me chuckle. It smells absolutely beautiful and I cannot wait to burn it.
This candle was from The House Outfit, they have some amazing bits so do make sure to check them out if like me your, f**cking fabulous!
Another candle here I know but I had to give this one a mention.
I bought this because I simply liked the color and wasn’t holding my breath for it to really do anything other than look good. My gosh though does this kick out some scent!
This smells expensive, and the burning time on it has been fairly decent so far.
Good bye Yankee Candle and hello H+M home candle.
Plant – Peace Lily
Meet my Peace Lily.
I can never normally keep plants alive, but last August when we moved into this house I decided to buy a plant that could hopefully grow with us, sentimental I know.
My little Peace Lily was tiny when I got her and shes quadrupled in size since!
Pat on the back for me!
Peace Lilies are one of the easiest plants to keep alive as their leaves will droop when it’s time to water them. In the springtime they bud the prettiest white leafs, and just make for a all round good easy plant that can grow to a fairly decent size.
Odour neutralising candle for pets – Next Home £3.99
Succulent in pot – Tesco £3/4
Succulents are the on trend plant right now, and being that they are fairly easy to keep and dead cheap, they are a easy way to spruce up a shelf with some life.
My little milk bottle vase was from IKEA and will be home to some daffodils at some point (hopefully!) and the little Next Home candle (Candle obsessed I know) is a must have for me as I have (ahem) five cats…
They also have other neutralising candles, so if you have a smelly animal or someone who loves to cook fish in your home then these will help eliminate the smells.
I have been looking for a cheaper version of the Kate Moss Life Is A Joke picture for a while now, so I was over the moon when I came across this one on EBAY.
The picture quality is great and delivery was super fast. I managed to fit her inside my IKEA FISKBO 30 by 40CM picture frame, but I did have to fold the bottom up about a centimetre to do so. Usually I wouldnt do this, but for the price I paid for the picture I really didnt mind.
The Lipy picture is another The House Outfit find.
Its so simple but I think it will look great on my upcoming feature wall,
I shall definitly going to purchasing a few more from them.
