In a previous post (here), I touched upon how utterly rubbish my sense of any style and fashion was. I would always favor trainers and trackie over heels and dressed any day of the week.
All that has changed though recently, with me making more of a conscious effort of actually pulling together a outfit that doesn’t look like you could sleep in it (my normal attire).
So now that I’m opting for a more ladylike way of dressing, it got me thinking about how I could accessorizes my outfits. Now accessorising does not come naturally to a self confessed style mess like me, so when Jewelry Box got in touch and offered to send me out a couple of bits it felt like the stars had aligned and it was a collab meant to be.
After spending approximately half a day on their website (they have A LOT of stuff!) I picked out a quirky ring, and a dainty yet cool (do dainty and cool go together? Isn’t that like calling a motorbike cute? Or a cucumber sweet. Err where was I….) necklace.
These will make perfect little gifts if your on a tight budget as Jewellery box have some great priced items, but they dont skimp on the details. I mean, look at the box they come in!
Super cute gift idea for a friend, sister, mum or someone really important, yo-self.
After this I was feeling mucho inspired to have a look around the interweb for some funky earrings, and good ole EBAY did not let me down. I found just what I was looking for, for 99p…
Ninety nine pennies.
*Gasp, shock, delight*
They are without a doubt some of the best pennies I have spent!
Usually anything less than a precious metal on my ears causes them to become irritated and turn green, a la Shrek. These however have done no such thing, so thereby have won themselves a permanent place in my ear.
I’m also ordering five more just because.
*Jewellery Box kindly let me pick out some of their lovely jewellery as a gift. I was not paid for this review. I just simple like them. Lots.
